La Regence - The Dan Tel Aviv flagship Restaurant

The Dan Tel Aviv flagship restaurant reopened on December 18th, 2005 with a new look and a new culinary touch.
Chef Ovad Alfieh puts his rich experience, his innovative approach and his magic touch into the creation of a menu which combines the colourful, modern Israeli cuisine with the classic simplicity of the Mediterranean kitchen.


''LA REGENCE'' (The Regency), between the years 1715 and 1723, was an interesting period in the history of France.
After the death of Louis XIV, the ''Sun King'', Philip of Orleans was elected as Regent until the coming of age of Louis XIV.
In contrast to the reign of Louis XIV, which was dominated by a strict adherence to the Puritanism of the Christian dogma, Philip of Orleans was known in the realm as a hedonist. He liked to eat well, to drink the best of  French wines and to have a good time until the small hours of the night.
This is why some of the best restaurants around the world are called  ''LA REGENCE'', restaurants which serve excellent food and provide perfect service in a pleasant décor.

The restaurant is open from Sunday to Thursday. 

Gan Dan Patio Cafe
